Leiomyoma and adenomyosis: does the unified stem cell exist?
The study combined lesions of uterine leiomyoma and adenomyosis actually mean prevalence and significant diagnostic difficulties. The accumulation of knowledge about stem cells endo- and myometrium allows for a fresh look at the histogenesis leiomyomas and adenomyosis. It seems highly probable existence of a single stem cell precursor for the above two pathological processes.
