Analysis of the cohort and incidence in persons exposed to radioactive iodine during fetal development
The purpose of this work was to study the incidence in children born and living in the territory of the Stolin district of the Brest region, irradiated in utero due to the incorporation of radioactive iodine (I-131), as a result of the Chernobyl accident, compared with the health status of children who were born later and were not exposed to such irradiation.
