The article deals with the course of pregnancy and childbirth, perinatal outcomes, antiepileptic therapy in patients with epilepsy of different Genesis and in the control group. It was revealed that in patients with epilepsy in comparison with the control group, pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia, chronic fetoplacental insufficiency and fetal hypoxia, the threat of termination of pregnancy were more common. The increased level of complications of pregnancy and childbirth, as well as the complicated course of the underlying disease led to delivery by surgical method in every second patient with epilepsy. It was also noted that newborn patients with epilepsy had a lower Apgar score and a higher incidence than newborns in the control group.
