In the article, hygienic risks of dust occupational diseases development (pneumoco-niosis) in specialists of dental orthopedic service were analyzed. It was revealed a correlation between development of pneumoconiosis and length of working in harm-ful conditions, composition of dust in a workplace. It was noted that the frequency of pneumoconiosis was higher at persons who were engaged in metal melting, sand-blasting. Difficulties in clinical and radiological diagnostics of pneumoconiosis at dental technicians, founders of dentures were established. Shortcomings of providing medical examinations of these workers were noted. It was revealed a necessity of their timely direction to the centers of occupational pathology for verification the diagnosis and adequate employment.
