Treatment of patients with schizophrenia performed antipsychotic drugs of the group in accordance with the canons of Clinical Psychopharmacology. Some patients do not respond to standardized treatment, is continuously fed to in-patient treatment, loses the social and professional skills and become disabled. In these patients, we found a number of biological features, manifested at different levels and methods of detectable non-standardized checklist for routine clinical examination. These include the clinical features of this group, a number of polymorphic loci of genetic factors, the structural organization of the brain, metabolic features. The article discusses the assessment of the adequacy of such features as the criteria for the appointment of alternative methods of treatment outcome in patients with severe schizophrenia. To this end, the method of meta-regression analysis of the results of six studies of their own.
