The important point in the treatment of varicose ulcers is clear topical ultrasound imaging of the venous refluxing trunk, which leads to venous hypertension and trophic disorders. The authors propose an ultrasound probe with compression of the ulcer area. This probe performed by the compression of the tissue calf/foot ulcer between the first and 2–5 fingers of the assistant researcher, while the researcher possessed linear transducer ultrasound scanner between the middle and the upper third of the patient's thigh. The dopplerographic curves were registered. The venous blood flow in the GSV or SSV arising after compression and lasting more than 0.5 s. was clinically significant. This indicated a relationship of pathological blood flow in the veins with the appearance of the ulcer. The identified vessel subjected to endovenous obliteration. The sensitivity of the probe was 92.00%, specificity 88.46%. This probe in application for diagnosis and treatment strategy the patients with varicose ulcers of the calf shown good early and long term results in a decrease the severity of venous score. Within 2 months ulcers healed in 19 of 21 patients.
