The concept of surgical treatment of anorectal malformations, based on knowledge of anatomy and physiology has repeatedly revised. It is changing the method of surgical treatment, leading to a better anatomical and functional results facilitate social adaptation of patients and prevent disability. In XX century, there has been significant progress in the study of anatomy and surgery. Results of the treatment 98 girls with vestibular fistula were treated at the DHC 1 Minsk City Clinical Hospital from 1970 to 2014. Given the frequency of postoperative complications, functional results obtained, modern trends coloproctology preferably for the treatment recto -vestibular fistula perform posterior sagittal anorectoplasty with preformed colostomy.
