On the mechanism of development of defeat of nervous system can be primary (are connected with direct action of the activator) and secondary (immunopathological) diseases. In treatment of the last the dominant role is played adequate immunosuppressive therapy. Now one of the most effective methods of such therapy is use of high doses of an intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) and pulse-therapy by methylprednisolone. Our first experience of application IVIG in immunosuppressive dose for treatment of children with the infectious-induced immunopathological defeat of nervous system has appeared effective. This way can be recommended for therapy of patients with the like pathology. At the insufficient efficiency IVIG, appointed in high doses, it is necessary to mean strengthening immunosuppressive influences by means of pulse-therapy of methylprednisolone.
