Synergic combination of venlafaxine with selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor sertraline
In forced swimming test (FST) carried out on male Wistar rat and in tail suspension test (TST) carried out on male C57Bl/6 mice was determined synergic antidepressant effect of venlafaxine and sertraline. Combination of venlafaxine with sertraline is need for subsequent detailed studies with the view of future using as a new combined antidepressant drug and treatment strategies to relief depression.
