In the last decade for the diagnosis in dentistry method of cone-beam computed tomography is actively used. The method has some significant advantages over planar images, but there is still the difficulty with the segmentation of the teeth and jaws in the images. This article describes the developed algorithm of image segmentation of CT scans of dentoalveolar system allowing separating of the threedimensional models of the jaw bones and teeth.
