The paper analyzes effectiveness of central haemodynamics non-invasive ultrasonic measurement, also in comparison with computational assessment methods in patients of anesthesiology and intensive care unit. Study included 21 patients (12 women and 9 men, aged 20 to 65 years). From diagnostic to measurement of CHD performance in patients was conducted USCOM device with subsequent comparison of the measured parameters with those obtained by computational methods. The study determined that the magnitude of stroke volume, cardiac output as well as cardiac and stroke index, measured using device, were 30-40% lower than with those calculated from formulas. Further studies are required to make a final decision on the effectiveness and feasibility of the central haemodynamics ultrasonic measurement in anesthesiology and intensive care unit.
