Immunostructura to pertussis among children 2-14 years was studied in Minsk. Taking into account the criteria used by the test-system, the proportion of seropositive individuals among the total number studied was 83,5%. Stable trend of the level of seropositive individuals in different age groups was established. It`s indicate the presence of a hidden circulating of B. rertussis. A full course of immunization against pertussis with established intervals between vaccination provides the formation of a full specific immunity for 5-6 years. Vaccinated children were observed for atypical whooping cough, which hampered the timely diagnosis of the disease. Proved the desirability of further improvement of laboratory diagnosis of pertussis, tactics, and assess the feasibility of introducing a second booster.
