The research goal was to study serum concentration of proinflammatory cytokines: interleukin-11 (IL-11), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8), anti-inflammatory interleukin-10 (IL-10) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in blood serum of 80 patients with clinical hypothyroidism and 42 practically healthy persons using the immunoenzyme assay. Our data are the evidence of increase of level of proinflammatory cytokine IL-6 and VEGF of blood serum in patients with autoimmune hypothyroidism. It was revealed that autoimmune hypothyroidism effects balance disturbance of cytokine-producing activity Th1 and Th2 types, this plays an important role in development of autoimmune state, disease progress.
