Stress-strained condition of periodontal ligament depending on the location and amount of abutment teeth in fixed partial dentures. Part 1.
This article describes the stress-strained condition of the periodontal ligament of the abutment teeth in fixed partial dentures, the roots of which are considered as a model of an elliptic hyperboloid. Different variants of bridges with variable parameters of mesiodistal and vestibulooral angles of abutment teeth with normal bone height and varying degrees of atrophy have been considered. According to the results of stresses calculated using the method of mathematical modeling recommendations for choice of design of bridges in various clinical situations have been suggested.
